Employers can create a simple web page to direct job seekers to their website for job openings. My Health Career website serves as a portal through which students can connect to employers with whom they may not have been familiar. Health Workforce Advisory Committee Formed

Recently, CCHN convened a committee to identify priority projects to address current and future health care workforce shortages in Chautauqua County. This group is comprised of local physician offices, hospitals, skilled nursing, clinics, and community based organizations who are experiencing a variety of labor shortages. Current priorities include physician recruitment and retention and developing a comprehensive pipeline strategy for "growing our own." In order to address physician recruitment needs, CCHN has formed a community support group prepared to welcome a physician candidate to the area at a moment's notice. This group includes representatives from govemment, education, business, health care, real estate, religion, and recreation. Please let CCHN know if you would like to be included on the phone tree for such visits.
